Pinot Noir from our vineyard in Tuerong on the Mornington Peninsula.
Planted in 1999, the Aylward Pinot Noir is from a small paddock block of MV6 clone that shows off the most distinctive and exceptional flavours and qualities of this vineyard.
Only 1,400 bottles have been produced in 2021 and the wine will be available at the cellar door and our website for a short time only.
Medium blood red colour. Displays pronounced sweet ripe raspberry fruit on both the nose and front palate. In addition, there is some wild, forest floor character.
Whilst the nose is attractive the wine almost explodes with flavour on the palate. It is simply bursting with raspberry, cherry and plums as well as some smoky oak.
