Verve Chardonnay is a beautiful example of Mornington Peninsula wine from our vineyard in Tuerong.
The first highlight is the citrus spectrum fruit and acidity. Oak is neutralised by the use of barrels that are over 6 years old. The lightest of touches is shown in the texture of the wine to highlight the variety. The Verve Chardonnay is lean but balanced with plenty of zip right through the whole palate.

The Verve is made from a block of Chardonnay vines we have grown since 2006. Featuring the clones P58, I10 & 95, these clonal selections combined with what we believe is a unique site for ripening Chardonnay on the Mornington Peninsula continually produces a distinctive wine of freshness & tension.
There is a lot of verve to this thanks to some mouth-watering sulphides and acidity. It’s a pared-back style with hints of lemon, white nectarine, creamy lees, not much, just enough to bolster the palate, which is essentially racy and linear. Moreish, so another glass please.
